It's still unclear who messaged who first, but God arranged Nichole and Jonathan to meet via online dating around Halloween 2023 and they effortlessly fell into regular and daily conversation. Messages turned into phone calls, virtual dates and selfies until it turned into seemingly endless highway treks to see each other in person. That first in-person trek was all it took to turn off their dating profiles and focus on one another. No weather or mountain kept them apart for a few months until Jonathan moved to Pennsylvania for even more regular trips and adventures together. Under clear blue skies and with water waves in every direction, Jonathan proposed atop Presque Isle Lighthouse on the shores of Lake Erie in August 2025. One of the other visitors who climbed the spiral staircase even surprised them with photos of the tears of joy to forever cherish! We are so thankful that our wedding guests also want to be a part of our joy via our special day!
