We had our first date at Squires in February 2021 when covid was still in full force and masks were mandatory to walk to your table. After a few mimosas and an awkward hug, we went on about our day. Jonathan was very good about planning our first few dates which included his favorite pizza (JJ Twiggs), darts, and the Ferris wheel downtown! Our lives merged pretty quickly from there where I, Natalie, got to meet his amazing kids Theo and Caroline! In 2024, we bought a home together in Glendale, MO and chose the coldest months of the year to move out of our separate homes! We love to entertain with our pool and man cave (aka garage) and socialize with our friends and family. January 2025, we were at Natalie's happy place at the Lake of the Ozarks and headed out to a nice dinner as we often like to do. He suggested stopping at a lookout on the way. In hindsight, Natalie should have known something was up but was happily reading the story boards about the location which overlooks the Lake, when Jonathan got down on one knee and proposed! It was very special and intimate, and we went on to play darts and call a few friends and then had a yummy steak dinner!!! We then headed back to the condo to celebrate with Natalie's Dad, Sava, with a Lake shot (crown and butterscotch schnapps)!
