Do I need a specific I.D. to enter the island?

Answer

License (must include the REAL ID star marking) or US passport work. Beginning May 7, 2025, federal agencies (including the TSA) will only accept REAL ID Compliant forms of identification. Failure to have REAL ID Compliant Identification will impact your air travel as you may not be allowed through TSA security checkpoints. Verify that your form of identification is REAL ID Compliant (or an acceptable EDL alternative) prior to May 7, 2025. If it is not or you are unsure, please visit your state’s driver’s licensing agency to update your identification and ensure it is REAL ID compliant.
