Wedding Party

Madison Tunney

Maid of Honor

Madison is a fellow Oak Parker; we met at a welcome event in Chicago before starting at USD, but didn't become friends until we showed up to study abroad orientation and found out we were both going to Paris and were randomly assigned as roommates. We spent that semester in a teeny tiny dorm and exploring every weekend (I was the "we can walk that far" person and Madison never told me no, even when it was definitely too far to walk). Since then, we get together as often as we can, either back in Oak Park or now in San Diego, since she moved back here a few months ago!

Austin Fiegel

Best Man

Austin is a fellow dual degree from WashU. Funny story, I think it was after our second party that I asked him to move in with me and be roommates. After that, we pretty much became inseparable. He's helped me move across the country, gone on yearly hiking trips, asked me to be his best man, and now we're here. It's been a long journey since Intro to Weightlifting and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Clare Frumkin

Bridesmaid

Clare is my sister (Kelly's twin). We were really close when growing up because she was the other sister who loved to dance, so we spent most of our time together at irish dance. Now she is the person I call when Wrigley is being annoying, so that he can Facetime with her dog Daisy.

William Andrew

Groomsman

I met Will at Crossfit Fortius a few years back, and we bonded over a mutual hatred for cardio. Ever since he moved back to San Diego for his residency, he's been a pillar in our lives, and his dog Nikko is Wrigley's best friend, which is how I'd describe our friendship too.

Kelly Frumkin

Bridesmaid

Kelly is my sister (her twin is Clare). Kelly was the other one of us who came out to California and never left. Kelly essentially moved in with me during Covid when Jon was at Basic Training. It has been really nice having a family member close enough for us to drive to see.

Matthew Klich

Groomsman

Matt is my oldest friend standing up with me. He was my first friend at Knox, taking on the role of showing the not-so-international kid around a small town in Illinois. He's an incredibly loyal friend and is actually the reason that Maggie and I even met (shoutout to the Forest Park Aquatic Center). If you meet Matt during the wedding, make sure to thank him for the wedding day.

Erin Frumkin

Bridesmaid

Erin is my youngest sister. Growing up Erin and I were very close as were the twins. She is currently studying Education and Psychology at Marquette. Erin is going to stay in Milwaukee after graduation and hopes to teach at a high school. Erin is a sports fanatic and currently works in the ticket office for Marquette Athletics.

Ryan Gleue

Groomsman

Ryan is another dual degree from the WashU days. Since we were the same major, we ended up spending the majority of our time together, taking the same classes, complaining about the same professors, becoming regular tennis partners and drinking buddies (separate events). When I went to Fort Leonard Wood for EBOLC, he was the first person I messaged, letting him know we'd have to hang out while I was in his neck of the woods. He may love running, which I hate, but that's okay with me.

Amanda Schweitzer

Bridesmaid

Amanda is a friend from USD who I met sophomore year through my roommate. Amanda and I ended up becoming friends and bonded over not being able to study in silence in places you'd expect (like the library), so we would go find coffee shops to study at together. Amanda still lives in San Diego too, so since graduating we go for coffee or beer almost every Sunday to vent about our weeks.

Shayne LipeLanoue

Groomsman

Shayne is another Crossfit Fortius friend, and he might not be my oldest friend, but he is one that I see the most often. Shayne's the type of friend that everyone should have in their life - how many people do you keep around that actively try to keep you at the gym longer? He constantly has a positive energy and approach to life, and I think secretly I just want to be a little more like him.
