A True Crime Story with a Happy Ending

and a full stomach

After ghosting Jon for 2 weeks on Hinge, Madeline decided to reply after Jon sent a photo of him cooking Korean food for his friends, asking "can you make that for me?" Shortly after, Madeline went over to Jon's house after a shift. Little did she know it was a trap and Jon was a closeted serial killer. But during their first few hours together and a warm helping of spicy pork and doenjangjjigae, Jon had grown feelings for this strangely bubbly and excitable woman and thought maybe this is real. On their second date, anti-seafood Madeline, said she was willing to try sushi again after Jon excitedly talked about his new fish knife from Japan. Jon brought over fish as well as a rice cooker, cutting boards, saran wrap, soy sauce, sushi rollers over to Madeline's place. For context, Madeline said her diet consisted of spinach and ranch (the ultimate chips and dip) and he assumed she was without necessities. After having some fresh nigiri and rolls, Madeline developed a new expensive taste for sushi. This is the story of how Madeline became a guinea pig for Jon's culinary efforts, Jon became addicted to her lively energy, the love that grew from it that led to this beautiful celebration, and how she was never hungry again.
