We first met when Leah got certified to Scuba Dive. Jonathan was working at the dive shop. Over time, we got to know each other better. We had board game nights with friends and went on dive trips to Hood Canal. After many months of hanging out together and getting to know each other, our friends started to wonder what was going on between us. In August 2019, with their encouragement, we made it official. It was the Oregon Ducks first football game of the season. Jonathan's take on the night: Ducks were playing Auburn, in which they lost in the final seconds because of Auburn Freshman Quarterback Bo Nix. He later went on the be the Ducks Quarterback. Jonathan says the only good thing that came out of that night was us dating. Leah's take on the night: Leah can't believe football is such a big part of the relationship, but can't argue with Jonathan's take on how the night ended. Six months into our relationship, the pandemic hit and we started spending even more time together, bringing us even closer. Once we were able to start traveling again, we went on a few big trips together and enjoy going on adventures together. We look forward to more adventures together.
