We’re getting married!!

Jon and I met through my sister in 2000. Jon and I had always been close and stayed in contact through out the years. If someone would have told us we would be getting married to each other many years later we would have told them no way. We both have been married and had families of our own. We always checked in on each other and caught each other up on life. In 2023 we decided to meet up with the boys for dinner at AJ’s pizza and the rest was history. We sat and talked for a couple of hours after not seeing each other for many years. When we were leaving the boys were not ready to go as they wanted to play. Watching the boys get along and play for the next hour was such a joy. Jon had asked me out on a date a week prior and told me dinner with the boys didn’t count haha. We had a wonderful first date together at Galveston’s Steak House. Everything was so easy with him and I knew he had been the one I had prayed so hard for. One night I was making dinner and he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. It was one of the easiest yes’s of my life!
