Depending on who you ask, Kimberly and Jonathan have different recollections on how they first met. Jonathan recalls a strong midwestern accent over a drink one night in Ann Arbor. Kimberly will never forget his endless energy on the plane to Israel through a University of Michigan Program... and Jonathan's excitement that it would be her first time there... versus his 30th. Still, this trip would be unlike the other 29 for Jonathan and quite a memorable trip for Kimberly! From Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, and many bus rides in between (where he pretended to like the indie folk music she wanted him to listen to), Jonathan was very confident he had not only found his "girl of the trip", but... Fast Forward the rest of Michigan together, a few (fun) years of long distance, and now happily living in Chicago... It has been quite a memorable ride.

On March 29, Jonathan proposed to Kimberly at Quintessa Winery, and the surprise of their parents joining them to celebrate will forever be one of the best days... and solidified an inkling they both had all along: that she would be his girl of the trip forever and always.
