FAQs

Question

Are they having two weddings?

Answer

Technically, yes! On November 3rd 2018, during a Catholic Ceremony, we will religiously and legally seal our commitment to one another. The mass will be followed with an intimate dinner. The following Saturday, November 10th 2018, we will be in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to have our Symbolic Ceremony and full scale Reception.

Question

Am I obligated to go to both weddings?

Answer

No. Every guest/couple will receive an invitation to the specific event they have been invited to. The Catholic Ceremony/Dinner is meant for immediate family/friends who cannot travel based on extenuating circumstances. The purpose of the dinner is to seal the event with an intimate and hearty meal after we experience the Sacrament of Marriage.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The NY wedding will enclose an RSVP card to reply by September 1st 2018. For those guests attending the Punta Cana nuptials, which have already booked: the full balance for the hotel stay is due on August 26th, 2018. If guests decide to book after August 26th 2018, the full balance is due for your stay upfront. Guests attending the wedding in DR can book their hotel stay through our group block up until October 19th. John and I consider that date will reveal the official guest list for DR. If the hotel stay is not booked by then, we shall interpret that as declining to attend.

Question

Where can I book my reservation for the DR Wedding?

Answer

The DR wedding will take place at Dreams Palm Beach, Punta Cana on November 10, 2018. To be considered a guest at our wedding you must book a minimum 3 nights stay through the website from our travel agent. You can visit the website below. Question

Do I have to stay at the hotel where the wedding is taking place?

Answer

Yes, to be considered a guest at our wedding you must book a minimum 3 nights stay at the hotel. Furthermore, many guests are opting to visit their families during this trip. Some guests are going to fly in to see their families days before the wedding, and then travel to the resort by Thursday/Friday to be on time for the wedding taking place on Saturday 11/10/18.
