Please RSVP for the baseball game by July 5th, 2025 so we have time to coordinate group tickets. As far as the ceremony and reception, please RSVP by 19th, 2025.
Right here on our website! Check out the registry tab.
Given that the ceremony and reception will be in two different locations, it is up to you whether you want to be closer to where we will start or end the night. The ceremony is at a hotel on Shelter Island while the reception is on Coronado Island. We included accommodations in both locations under the Travel tab.
We plan on obtaining group tickets for this event once we finalize the head count of all interested guests. If you have RSVP'd for the game, we will reach out to you individually regarding the pricing of your ticket once we have secured the details with the park.
The ceremony is at 5pm, so it might be a good idea to show up at least 20 minutes before to ensure you have time to park and walk into the ceremony space.
Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The ceremony will be in a semi-shaded area, but please keep in mind that it will be August, so I would encourage you to dress in breathable clothing to be as comfortable as possible. As for the reception, we will be right on the bay and once the sun goes down it does get chilly with the breeze of the water. There will be outdoor heaters but it might be a good idea to consider a light jacket/sweater just in case.
We chose a cocktail attire dress code for the event, which is considered semi-formal. Check out this link for a better idea of what this might look like: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire
Yes! Parking is free at the hotel for the ceremony as long as you are not parking overnight. As for the reception, there is a large lot for parking right next to the restaurant. If you are interested in parking at the reception, reach out to the bride for more info. Alternatively, we would encourage you to consider ride share options (Uber, Lyft, etc.) for the evening given the travel required between the two locations. The drive between is approximately 20-25 minutes, and we understand if it not feasible for you to pay for ride share options. In the end, we want you to pick the transportation option that will allow you to truly enjoy the night.
We know that it may seem inconvenient to travel in the middle of the evening, but we planned the day with a budget in mind so we appreciate your understanding. The ceremony will be at 5pm and will last approximately 30 minutes. At this point, immediate family will stick around for pictures with the bride and groom in the ceremony space. Other guests will be able to take their time travelling to the reception venue as our event is schedules to begin at 6:30pm. We hope that the hour between the end of the ceremony and the start of the reception will be enough time to travel between the two locations without rushing franticly.
The restaurant we are dining at is an Italian restaurant, so we hope you come hungry as there will be plenty of food! We have finalized the menu with the restaurant, so you will get to order the entrée of your choice when we sit down for dinner. It will be as if you are dining at the restaurant like a regular patron, based off of the menu that we created.
We carefully chose all the family and friends that we really want to be there for our special day, so unless otherwise specified in the invitation, you will not be granted a plus one for the day.
We politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception, unless specifically invited on the invitation. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
We planned our reception to be an intimate gathering with our closest family and friends. While it would of course be so fun to dance the night away, the reception will be considered a "restaurant reception", so there will unfortunately not be a dancefloor for the night. We will only have space for the special dances with the bride/groom and parents.
