We’re going for elevated cocktail attire. For men, think slacks and a jacket. For women, cocktail or long dresses—dressy but not black tie. No tuxes required (unless you just really want a reason to wear one—we won’t stop you).
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM, so we recommend arriving around 4:00–4:15 PM. This will give you enough time to park, find your seat, and get settled before everything starts.
We’re planning to have an unplugged ceremony so our photographer can capture all those picturesque shots we’re so excited to hang all over our new house 😊 We’ll give everyone a chance to snap a couple photos at a designated time during the ceremony (we know it’s hard to resist), but for the walks down the aisle and the remainder of the ceremony. we ask that you put your phones away and just be present with us. We promise to share photos as soon as we get them! After that, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like during cocktail hour and the reception—we’d love to see the day through your eyes, too!
The ceremony will take place in an open-air chapel—it has large opening in the side walls, but covered, so you’ll be shaded and comfortable. Cocktail hour and the reception will be indoors. There is a very short, uncovered walk between the cocktail and reception spaces—nothing major, but just something to be aware of.
Yes! There is ample parking at the venue, and there will be signs to guide you so you don’t have to guess where you’re going.
There is some decking between the buildings with wider planks. It should be totally fine for most shoes, but very thin heels could catch in the cracks. If you’re planning on stilettos, just be a little mindful during the (very short) time outside.
Your formal invitation will be addressed to those included in our guest count and will specify if a plus-one is included.
As you all know, we absolutely love kids. That said, we really want everyone to be able to relax and celebrate with us during a responsibility-minimal* night to fully enjoying the party. We completely understand that you will be traveling, and we’re so grateful you’re making the trip. If you plan to bring your children to DeLeon Springs, please let Kaitlin know—we are happy to connect families that are looking for childcare for the evening.
To help us stay fully present and enjoy the day, we kindly ask that you reach out to our designated point person instead of contacting us directly. Their information will be shared closer to the wedding date—thank you for helping us keep the day as smooth (and stress-free!) as possible.
Of course. When you RSVP on the website, there will be a place to note any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Because our guests are staying at a variety of different hotels, Airbnbs, and VRBO rentals, we won’t be coordinating group transportation to or from the venue. We recommend planning ahead with a rideshare, car service, or designated driver so you can arrive and head home safely and easily!
