We were married on May 16, 2022, (a Monday, no less) after dating for approximately 7 years. We brought five friends and family members with us to Tbilisi, Georgia, to celebrate, witness, and party for a week. Those lucky five included Jonathan's high school friends, Pablo and Ashley Ormachea; Julianna's sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Isaac Valdez; and Jonathan's photography friend (also our photographer for the wedding), James Kelly. After arriving in the country and enjoying a traditional Georgian supra (feast) and its famous Georgian wine, we exchanged vows in a sweet and very short ceremony at a traditional Georgian wedding palace. We slow danced to our one and only song, then went out to explore the city and capture the day. We traveled all over Tbilisi's old city for wedding photos that day, then spent the evening at a rooftop restaurant admiring the city below. The next two days were spent taking more amazing wedding photos, both at Vardzia Caves and Tskaltubo, an abandoned Soviet-Era spa town. After three days of photos, we finally retired the white dress and suit, and were able to enjoy being with our hilarious group of friends while having an unforgettable trip.
