Jonathan and I met in a freshman level communications class in the fall of 2022. It was my first semester at NC State and his seventh. Jonathan had pushed off taking this communications class until his senior year of college. He claims that when I walked in the room and he saw me, he knew I was his one. I on the other hand was a nervous wreck being a brand new student coming in as a junior. I was far more concerned with not being noticed and grabbing a seat in the back of the class than I was about my surroundings. Time went on and we never spoke until one day he found me on social media. We started texting, conversation flourished, and we finally went on our first date on February 3rd, 2023. Our relationship took off from there, we started dating exactly one week from then, engaged December 13th, 2023, and now we look forward to getting married on September 21st, 2024 with our most intimate family and friends!
