September 11th 2019, we "swiped right"! The next day, Joanna, not caring to become internet buddies, sent Jonathan a quick and casual - "How about we move this off-line and meet for Happy Hour tonight? (insert winky face)" This turned into a 5 hour first date full of laughs, smiles, and Jonathan serenading Joanna with Dave Matthew music at the bar. This may sound cliche, but the truth is, we knew right away that this would be something special. June 5th 2020 - The proposal! Although unable to celebrate the engagement with friends and family in person due to COVID, we felt the love, support, and joy of everyone from afar! Now with an end of COVID finally in sight, we are so excited to celebrate our love and our marriage with our friends and family! There are some long over-due hugs, laughs, and celebration to be had.
