We met on Jessica’s birthday! She had come to the Alibi Room where Jon was working for food, fun and festivities. Jon had come because he had to since he was on the schedule. Towards the end of the evening Jessica wanted to buy her friend and fellow birthday twin a drink which Jon graciously offered to buy. After politely refusing and insisting on paying for the drinks (not politely...there was a chorus of “I can buy my own drinks”) Jon gave the girls their drinks and the check. Jessica paid and left her number at the top of the receipt, which Jon still has a picture of!! The next day a hung over Jessica lamented being mean to the cute bartender and was thoroughly surprised when Jon actually texted her. We had our first date at the Shangri-La Hotel in Santa Monica and the rest is history. So for all of you who wonder if you can find love at a bar... the answer is absolutley yes!!!!
