We encourage our guests to arrive by Friday, October 9, 2026 to get acclimated to the area's higher elevation. We invite you to stay and enjoy Colorado for as long as you'd like. At this time, we do not have any activities planned following the wedding. Please see the THINGS TO DO tab if you plan to stay and explore the area.
No. The bride and groom will be staying at the Home2 Suites Hotel near the venue. We want to give our guests the option to choose whichever hotel they prefer. There are many hotel options near the venue. Please see the TRAVEL tab at the top of this page for more hotel information.
No. Most of the hotels in the area do not offer transportation services. Please make prior arrangements for a car rental or ride-share services from your hotel to The Franciscan Event Center.
We encourage our guests to wear Cocktail/ Semi-Formal Attire, Earth Tone colors optional. (Theme: Autumn in Colorado)
Yes. Our venue has plenty of complimentary self-parking to accommodate all of our guests.
The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. Please plan to arrive between 2:30pm and 2:45pm to find your seat in the garden.
Yes. The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Franciscan Event Center. Please meet us in the garden for the ceremony and cocktail hour, followed by the reception inside the ballroom.
Both. Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside in the garden starting at 3:00pm. The reception will be held indoors immediately following the cocktail hour. Reception to begin at 4:30pm.
We will be serving a Buffet style dinner. If you have any specific dietary restrictions, please notify the bride or groom before you RSVP. * We will update this page to detail the options once we have finalized the menu.
Yes. Please note: Centennial, CO elevation is 5,830'. Drinking at higher elevations significantly intensifies the effects of alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
No. While Colorado is 420 friendly, The Franciscan Event Center is NOT. Please DO NOT vape or smoke on site, whether inside or outside the venue as public consumption of cannabis is illegal throughout the state. The bride and groom are subject to fees due to guest negligence and will have to hold guests accountable if necessary. Please respect the couple and the venue in following this rule. ( *Only tobacco use is allowed in outdoor spaces.)
Our wedding will take place as the Autumn season begins which may bring cooler temperatures. Please check the local weather ahead of your arrival to Colorado to be most prepared for what to expect.
