You haven't already?!? Please RSVP no later than April 1st 2025. And no April Fools jokes. You can RSVP on the website. You'll RSVP separately for each event of the weekend, for you and your family members, including providing dietary restrictions. We'll likely send (virtual or paper) invitations to remind you and get this process started in February or March.
The ceremony starts at 3pm. Please arrive no later than 2:30pm so you can find a seat and take in the view. If you rented a bike please arrive by 2:00 PM to get your bike and ensure fit. If you would like to explore the gardens, you may arrive anytime after 1pm to be a part of the complimentary entrance associated with our wedding (you can also visit the gardens anytime earlier as a normal paying customer). The gardens are beautiful and we highly encourage you to take the time to enjoy them.
No. Dress is somewhat variable. Wear clothing that is typical of weddings but also keep in mind there will be a bike parade. If you want to participate in the parade please wear clothing that will accommodate biking or bring a change of clothes.
Absolutely. Some of your kids are more fun than you. They should be here. We also don't want the hurdle of finding child care to be what prevents you from coming. That being said, this is also an opportunity to enjoy yourself, so if you'd like a weekend away from the kids that's up to you.
Yes...ish. We have so many friends and family we want at our wedding. That includes you so if you have a significant other, please bring them. (Let us know so we can update the website for you to RSVP them.) But if it's your first date or you're wanting to just bring a friend, please don't. There will be loads of wonderful people at the wedding for you to meet.
Yes. We have room blocks at: Best Western University Inn (on College Ave/US 287 and Elizabeth St.) https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.06040.html?groupId=G80JS8U6 Hilton Fort Collins https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/exline-rees-wedding-2025/ To call for a reservation please call: 970-482-2626 or 1-800-744-1500 use code 925 Cutoff date to make a reservation: May 21, 2025 AirBnB has numerous options. To give you an idea of where to find lodging here are a few landmarks: Our house is in midtown 2706 Worthington Ave Fort Collins, Co 80526 Ceremony: Gardens on Spring Creek 2145 Centre Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80526 Reception: Block One 428 Linden St, Fort Collins, CO 80524 Two of the more historic and eclectic hotels in Fort Collins are the Armstrong and the Elizabeth. They are in the middle of old town Fort Collins. The Armstrong has a jazz club in its basement. Both options are a little more pricy but nice. They are also roughly a 10-15 minute walk from the reception. We do NOT recommend getting a hotel near Mulberry (Highway 14) and i25 area. These are the cheapest hotels in the area but crime is not uncommon. It's a weird part of town and far away from the weekends festivities. Best to avoid.
We are planning events or parts of events at our house throughout the weekend, so we are unfortunately unable to host. However, if you roll like us and you don't need a fancy hotel, just a place to set a tent or a couch to sleep on, let us know, we may be able to connect you with one of our local friends. If you are in our local network and have floor/couch/backyard space to share, please reach out if you're into making a new friend or two. All of you, locals and friends who live afar, are very cool and we'd be stoked to make that connection.
There is parking at the Gardens on Spring Creek for the ceremony.
There is no official parking at Block One, the reception venue. You will need to find street parking or park in one of the many nearby garages or lots. https://www.rentblockone.com/events Here's a great website that lists things nearby Block One including parking garages. I've also listed those garages below. https://downtownfortcollins.com/go/block-one-events Street parking is not hard to find especially if you head Northwest on Linden street towards New Belgium Brewery. We suggest you carpool, uber/lift or participate in the bike parade. Below is a list of links to nearby parking garages. https://downtownfortcollins.com/parking/firehouse-alley-parking-structure (0.2 miles away) https://downtownfortcollins.com/parking/jefferson-street-lot (0.2 miles away) https://downtownfortcollins.com/parking/old-town-parking-structure (0.3 miles away) https://downtownfortcollins.com/parking/civic-center-parking-structure (0.3 miles away)
No. The ceremony and reception are in the middle of Fort Collins so finding alternative transportation (Bike/bus/uber/lift/carpool) or parking will not be challenging. Please drink responsibly and be safe getting home.
Fort Collins has free bus routes throughout town that are very easy to use. Here is the TransFort bus website: https://ridetransfort.com/ The Max is particularly useful. It runs north/south right through the middle of town and has stops near the following important locations: - Spring Creek Gardens, cite of the wedding ceremony (Spring Creek Station, 5ish minute walk, .3 miles using Spring Creek pedestrian overpass) - Hilton Hotel, where we have a room block (Prospect Station, 7-minute walk, .3 miles) - Best Western University Inn, where we have another room block (University Station, 5-minute walk, .2 miles) - Block One Events, wedding reception location (Downtown Transit Center, 11-15 minute walk, .5 miles) On Saturdays, the last Max departing Downtown Transit Center (near the reception venue at Block One) is at 10:20 PM. We have to have everyone out of Block One by 10:00 PM for cleaning, so if you are planning to return to your lodging after the reception (rather than continuing your night in Old Town) and are staying at one of the hotel blocks or somewhere along that line, you could make this bus if you prefer to do that over driving, hitching a ride with someone who drove, or getting a Lyft or Uber. The Max does not run on Sundays. Here is the Max schedule, map, and other info: https://ridetransfort.com/routes/max/ Let us know if you have questions about using the Max! Erica uses it weekly to commute.
Yes. Please refer to the schedule page for details. There will be RSVP links for each of these events. Please be sure to RSVP to each event.
Of course! If you are not a Colorado resident or do not have a state park pass, we are paying your entry for that day using a tally system which will provide you with a daily entry permit. When you enter the park, stop at the visitor center and let them know you are a part of the Rexline Wedding. They will give you a pass and add you to the tally. Your day permit will be valid all day, so feel free to enter/exit the park whenever you wish that day. Maybe a hike to the Waterfall or the top of Arthur's Rock to work up an appetite before the picnic, or some late afternoon fishing in one of the many coves? We planned our picnic here to share this beautiful place we love with all of our loved ones, so please enjoy.
No! this is totally optional. If you do not want to participate in the parade you will simply need to drive/uber/bus/carpool to the reception venue: Block One 428 Linden Street Fort Collins, CO 80524. Please see the FAQ on parking at the reception. If you do want to participate in the bike parade, you need a bike. Please see FAQ on bike rentals
Absolutely, because we are not providing a bike for you :) The parade route will be easy flat terrain for approximately 3 to 4 miles through Fort Collins. Honestly beach cruisers would be perfect, so no need for fancy technical bikes. Recycled Cycles is the first call for renting a bike. The easiest way to get a bike and ensure it's associated with our wedding is to call. (970) 223-1969. Ask for Kalani or Quinn and mention our names and the wedding. Traditional (human powered) bike $30/day E-Bike $60/day - they only have 10 in inventory They come with lock, helmet, basket and light. They will drop off the bikes at the ceremony and make sure the fit is good before we take off on the parade. They will then meet us at the reception to pick up the rental. FOR THOSE RENTING FROM RECYCLED CYCLES: please arrive at the Gardens by 2:00 PM to get your bike and ensure fit. We encourage to pay via phone or swinging by their shop 1-2 days prior to wedding day. If you don't want to have your bike dropped off and picked up for the parade specifically (for example, if you want to rent a bike for the whole day or weekend), you're welcome to do that, but will need to work out those details independently. https://www.recycled-cycles.com/products/rentals-pg224.htm Recycled Cycles is the only company we have arranged to drop off/pick up bikes. Other rental companies: Drake Cycles in Fort Collins is another good shop for rentals. Unsure if they will drop off/pick up. https://www.drakecycles.com/ Pedego Cycles is a shop in town that specializes in e-bikes. They can drop off/pick up for a fee and are a good option if you specifically want an e-bike and Recycled Cycles is out. https://pedegoelectricbikes.com/dealers/fort-collins/ Make sure wherever you get your bike from that you get a bike lock with it. Bike theft is an issue in Fort Collins unfortunately.
https://maps.app.goo.gl/uTKREnvKei6HYPjt8 We will bike from the Gardens on Spring Creek to Block One. It is roughly 3 to 4 miles and should take around 45-60min. There will be one stop along the way for 'hydration' purposes. We have chosen the route carefully but even with careful consideration there are a few road crossings. Please be aware and follow all traffic laws. We will travel as a group and take turns waiting for everyone when it's reasonable to do so. Children are more than welcome to join. Based on their comfort/ability level (and the parent's comfort) they can join us at different areas of the ride. If they are not doing the entire ride and want to avoid road crossings, we suggest meeting up here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/prrwAU3WobWtsR9n9 This is the last segment of the ride where we will jump on the Poudre Trail
