Peach & Love To All

We belonged to the Young Adults Fellowship Group at Grace Emmanuel Church on Kitterman Road. I was only there for a couple of months and never seen you before, because you were out of the country for work. In December of 2017 you came back to Florida where we met at a Christmas Party for young adults. We never had a proper introduction. We briefly acknowledge each other in a hand wave and moved on. I saw you again at several Young Adults meetings, but we never really talked. A couple of weeks after you hosted a young adults meeting, I told one of my good friends about how I liked you. I was just to shy to do anything about it. Every time I tried I would get nervous and say something embarrassing. She told me to just go for it, so I did. I reached out to you and we scheduled a day to hang out. We went to downtown where we could hear a live band in the distance. We walked together until we found the music at this little Tiki bar right on the water. The atmosphere was great. People were dancing, drinking and having a great time. It felt like it was just you and I. We joked, laughed, and sang along. We talked about our lives, places we have traveled to and places we dream of going. At the end of the date you kissed me goodnight and from there on the rest is history!

Thank you both for welcoming Diamond into your lives and accepting her with open arms into our family. You both believed in me and pushed me to be a better person. Dad, I learned from you how to be a strong, hard working man. I learned how to be a good Husband to my Wife and when the time comes a good Father to my Children. Dawn, Thank you for being a role model in my life. You always wanted the best for me. I love you both, and I cannot thank you enough for always loving me and supporting me. Chuck and Mom, We have created so many great and fun memories together. You both have been a constant source of love. Chuck, thank you for taking care of my mother and loving her. Thank you for loving me as your son. Mom, I love you and you will always hold a special place in my heart. You bring so much joy into my life. Grandpa and Grandma, I am so honored to call you my Grandparents. You are loved and respected by many. I have so much that I want to learn from you. I admire you both for all that you been through together and for the mutual love you share for the Lord. I love listening to all of your stories about the lives you've lived and the places you've traveled. Thank you for being all that you are. Mildred, You are so much fun to be around. It is amazing how much you love and care for your family. You are talented and hardworking. I want to thank you for being such a great influence in Diamond's life. Also for going out of your way to make the start of our lives as a married couple as special as possible. I learned so much from you. I learned how to be a better woman, and what being a mother is really all about. I am so happy my father found you. You are exactly what my Dad and I were missing in our lives. You are my father's soulmate, and it warms my heart to know that he has you to grow old with and deal with his antics for the rest of his life. I never had a good mother figure in my life until you came around. Despite all my flaws and differences that we had to overcome, you still treat me like I am your own daughter. That is the best feeling in the world. Thank you for being the mother in my life that I needed. Thank you for playing such a vital role in my life. You are everything a mother should be. You should be so proud of yourself for raising some amazing adults. You are very special to me and there are really no words good enough to describe my appreciation for you. Love, Diamond

Jose, I promise to take care of your daughter and love her for the rest of my life. I have a lot of respect for you and the way you provide, and protect your family. Father- what does it mean? If you were to google the definition of father it would say: noun-a man in relation to his natural child or children. However, because you are my father, I know that it is so much more than that. It is about teaching your children right from wrong, and pushing them in the right direction. You have done that for me and so much more. You made sacrifices for me, you have loved me and continued to give me so much more than what I deserve. You are the best father in the world and there is so much about you that I love and adore. I admire your kindness, sense of humor and your generosity. I want you to know that I am so proud of you. I am so proud to call you my father. You are an amazing role model who defied all odds. You built an amazing life for yourself and for your family. You made what feels impossible, possible by hard work and ambition. I have made you angry, and you still love me. I have disappointed you and you still never gave up on me. I have been stubborn and you still helped me when I was wrong. You molded me into the woman I am today. Even though I am going to be a married woman, I will still be your little girl. I love you Dad, for all that you are. You are an amazing friend, a wonderful leader, a perfect example of how a man should be with his wife, a great son and brother. In my eyes, you are what every man should strive to be and I have the honor to call you my father. Love, Diamond

O God, who in creating the human race willed that man and wife should be one, keep, we pray, in a bond of inseparable love those who are united in the covenant of Marriage, so that, as you make their love fruitful, they may become, by your grace, witnesses to charity itself. Through Christ our Lord Amen. We ask that you continue to pray and bless the union of Jonathan and Diamond. That they spend all their years together growing in faith, growing in love and growing in family.
