What is the dress code? / ¿Cuál es el código de vestimenta?

Answer

The dress code is all-black formal. Women can get away with a nicer cocktail dress, elegant dress or a nice pantsuit. Men, A formal wedding might include a jacket and tie or a traditional suit. Tuxedos are not required. El código de vestimenta es formal y totalmente negro. Las mujeres pueden optar por un vestido de cóctel sofisticado, un vestido elegante o un traje de pantalón elegante. Answer

The venue is outdoor but it is all paved so wear shoes that will go with the formal attire. Women heels or short block heels, Men dress shoes. After the ceremony and reception is over, women can swap out their heels for strappy sandals for party time ! Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you. Answer

We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adult/teen-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the younger kids at home. Queremos que puedan relajarse y celebrar con nosotros; por eso, hemos decidido organizar un evento exclusivo para adultos y adolescentes. Agradecemos que tomen las medidas necesarias para dejar a los niños más pequeños en casa.

What if I can't make it ? / ¿Y si no puedo asistir?

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. Te echaremos de menos, pero lo entendemos perfectamente. Por favor, confirma tu asistencia indicando que no asistirás lo antes posible para que podamos organizarnos.

Answer

While we do not have hotel room blocks reserved, there are many hotels and Airbnb’s available very close to the venue in San Juan. Please see our page on Travel for suggestions and more information. Answer

We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is plenty of parking available. If you do not wish to drive, we suggest taking an Uber or Lyft. No ofreceremos transporte de ida y vuelta a los eventos; sin embargo, la ceremonia y la recepción se llevarán a cabo en el mismo lugar y hay amplio estacionamiento disponible. Si prefiere no conducir, le sugerimos utilizar Uber o Lyft.

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night! Hemos contratado a un fotógrafo profesional para capturar nuestro día especial y les pedimos que no utilicen sus teléfonos móviles durante la ceremonia. Can I smoke on the property? / ¿Puedo fumar en la propiedad?

Answer

The venue is a smoke free property. However, you are welcome to smoke in the parking lot just outside of the venue. El recinto es un espacio libre de humo. No obstante, puede fumar en el estacionamiento situado justo en el exterior.

Answer

Although we can’t predict the exact weather, temperatures in Puerto Rico in January are typically around 80 degrees during the day and 70 degrees at night. Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Jardines del Castillo in Trujillo Alto, PR. Tanto la ceremonia como la recepción se llevarán a cabo en Jardines del Castillo, en Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner? / ¿Estoy invitado a la cena de ensayo?

Answer

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included. Debido a las limitaciones de espacio de nuestro lugar de celebración, lamentablemente debemos limitar la lista de invitados a la cena de ensayo a aquellas personas que participarán en la ceremonia. Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. ¡Ayúdennos a comenzar la celebración según lo previsto! We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our newlywed home.
