Colossians 3:14 - And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 

Love and HARMONy are definitely two of the greatest factors that brought these two music loving individuals together in the first place. 
The first interaction Darah had with Jonathan was actually a comment he sent her in regards to a picture he saw of her playing a guitar on the beach in California. 
His message read, “Do you think we could play worship songs together?” 
Definitely interested in this unique comment, Darah responded and began what turned out to be a sweet introductory conversation with Jonathan. 
About a week and a half later, after endless messages and a few phone calls filled with laughter, similar interests and much biblical discussion, Darah decided to make the drive to Dallas and met Jonathan at “Three Links”; a Jazz lounge in deep Ellum Texas. 
The first words he said to her in person as she turned around in her seat to formally greet him were, “oh man you are sooooo pretty!” She couldn’t help but smile. 
Jonathan asked Darah to be his girlfriend on their second date. 
This began the adventure of a lifetime with events ranging from roller skating one year anniversary dates to real estate runs, to endless airport pick ups, to worshiping together on the same platform at church, to nights of endless laughter over chapters in bedtime stories, to meeting each others families… to dreaming of what a beautiful future they could enjoy together. 
On November 8th 2022, Jonathan asked Darah to, “be his wife.” After many many emotional tears were shed Darah finally caught her breath long enough to accept his beautiful request. 
A few moments later Jonathan took Darah into his arms and held her so close to his heart as he prayed. “Lord we thank you for all chapters. Thank you for being with us as friends, then in our relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. I pray that your will be done and that you will be with and bless this next chapter of our life together as we are engaged. May you be the center always. Thank you for bringing Darah into my life. May you go before us and guide our every step. Thank you for first showing us what love is so that we have an example of how to love each other. We are so excited for your future, amen!” 
Well, here they are now. Ready to begin a new chapter. Here’s to love, love in perfect HARMONy!🥰
