We both attended the rave with our own groups of friends, but eventually, as the night progressed, we wandered off from our groups and spent the rest of the evening together—going from tent to tent, listening to music, and just vibing with each other. It felt effortless and fun, like we’d known each other for much longer. By the end of the night, we exchanged numbers, and a week later, we went on our first official date. From the very beginning, something just felt different. There was this undeniable connection between us that we both felt. Just two months later, at another rave—at the exact spot where we first met—he asked me to be his girlfriend.
