We're Getting Married!

It all started with a simple swipe to the right on a dating app. Jon was in Mexico for spring break back in 2020, so we planned our first date two weeks out. But when the day finally arrived, the entire world shut down due to Covid. Instead of cancelling, Jon invited me over to his house for dinner that Friday evening. Little did I know, he made steak and taught himself how to cook asparagus properly for the first time - just for me. From that night on, Jon has dinned me with steak, asparagus and red wine almost every Friday since our first date! We fell in love over shared loves: dogs, music, castles, fried chicken, tasty wine, Belgium beer, and of course The Lord of The Rings. Speaking of castles and tasty beer, we went to Germany together for Oktoberfest and castle viewing. Little did I know, Jon would pull off the most memorable, heartfelt proposal right in the court yard of Neuschwanstein Castle on a rainy, moody day. I felt like a princess. So many happy tears - we couldn't wait to be together forever with our precious doggies. So yeah. Jon & Ash. We started dating in College Station, then we moved in together for the first time in Austin, TX, where Jon began his career after graduating from Texas A&M (whoop, whoop!). We lived there for about 5 and a half years, making so many wonderful memories. This past year, we relocated back to Houston, TX, and finally decided to start planning our beautiful union -surrounded by everyone we love and adore most, all in one room. Jon & I couldn't imagine tying the knot without each of you. We cant wait to boogie on the dance floor with you. Woohoo! Let's celebrate love. - A & J
