Jonathan and Ashley first crossed paths in town, not thinking much of it at the time. But when Jon invited Ashley to an Astros game, everything changed. Since that first date, they’ve been inseparable. Now, they keep the tradition alive by attending an Astros game every season to relive the special day that started it all.

Jonathan spent months carefully planning the perfect proposal. He told Ashley that his parents were coming into town and wanted to go to dinner. As they were getting ready, Jon’s dad “called” to say they were running a little behind, giving Jon the perfect excuse to take Ashley to the Arboretum in the meantime. There, a secret undercover photographer was waiting. The photographer approached them, explaining that her scheduled couple was running late and offering a free 10-minute photo session. Ashley, never one to pass up a free photoshoot, eagerly agreed. Everything was set. During one of the poses, Jonathan seized the moment, got down on one knee, and proposed. On February 8, 2025, amidst the beautiful backdrop of the Arboretum, Ashley said yes! Afterward, the newly engaged couple was met by their loved ones for a celebratory dinner, marking the beginning of their next chapter together.
