Are there accommodations other than staying at the resort?
Answer
Yes! There is a Hampton Inn just 15 minutes away from the Barnsley. To reserve a room in our block either at the Barnsley or Hampton, please book by October 28, 2025.

Are children invited?
Answer
While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding festivities adults-only. We kindly ask that you make arrangements in advance so that you can relax and enjoy the weekend with us!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, while the reception will be indoors. Because our wedding is happening in December and in the south, it could be 20 degrees or 80 degrees! In the event of mild chilly weather, we plan to have heaters and fireplaces on during cocktail hour. In the event of extreme cold or rain, we will move the ceremony to an indoor chapel, and will head over to the reception hall for cocktail hour.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be black tie. Please note our ceremony will take place in grass, so plan your footwear accordingly. Block heels, platforms, flats, etc. are recommended. Dress code for the welcome party will be smart-casual. Think "dressed up for a nice dinner."

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Our guest list is limited, so we can only accommodate those who are formally invited on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
