Flight
Northern California has plenty of options for flying! The closest airport to the wedding is the Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa. Only 15 minutes to the hotels and venue. Flying into San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) will have much more availability and options, but are about an hour south of the hotels and venue. Read on for more information about how to get from the major airports up to Sonoma County!
Travel Note
The most economical way to get between the major airports and the hotels in Santa Rosa would be to take the Airport Express shuttle. It runs frequently every day of the week, and costs about $50 each way. Ubers and Lyfts run just north of $100 each way, and rental cars at the airports are always a great option.
Hotel
The Courtyard Marriott has rooms blocked for the wedding that can be booked via the link below. The group rate starts at $250 per night, with a 2 night minimum stay. Transportation to and from the venue on Saturday will be provided between this hotel and the venue. The Courtyard is located in downtown Santa Rosa, just a half mile walk from the Saturday night after party, and only a 15 minute drive/rideshare from the Friday night welcome drinks.
Shuttle
July 13, 2024 3:45 pm - 10:30 pm
A shuttle service will run from the main hotel, The Courtyard Marriott, and the ceremony/reception venue, Vine Hill House. The shuttles to the venue will all leave at 3:45PM and rides home from the venue will all head back at 10:30PM. You do not need to stay at the hotel to take advantage of the shuttle. Please indicate on your RSVP if you plan to use the shuttle service. You will need to get yourself to the hotel though. Very limited parking available but rideshare is an option and many other hotels are within walking distance.
Travel Note
While our room block and shuttle will revolve around The Courtyard Marriott, there are also many other hotel options right within walking distance of The Courtyard. For a larger hotel with more amenities, try the Hyatt Regency across the street. For a more boutique feel, try Hotel La Rose just a block away. And for another Marriott option, try the AC Hotel by Marriott, located only 2 blocks away. Outside of downtown Santa Rosa, there are also many Airbnb options located throughout Sonoma County. While not as convenient for transportation, if you're looking to explore rentals, we recommend looking in and around Sebastopol, or on the Russian River up near Forestville or Guerneville.
