We met at a house party (I knew his roommate)we became friends but wouldn’t start dating until several months later.

We went on a day date in Gatlinburg, TN. While walking the strip he said we should go into these jewelry stores and try on rings. I didn’t think anything of it as he said I know you have an idea of what you want but I want you to try them on to make sure. Still had no idea it was happening that day. So I tried on “the ring” and I didn’t want to take it off. He told the cashier to ring it up. Still did not think it was happening. We get back to the resort and we take our daughters along with my parents to go swimming up at the infinity pool which overlooks the smoky mountains. He pulls me over to the spot that overlooks the mountains and gets down on one knee and asks!! Easiest yes I’ve ever said!!!
