Rylee is the match maker. She grew up with JB and then met Lauren in college when they became roommates freshman year. Rylee keeps us laughing while simultaneously planning the next function, this time it’s our wedding. She fuels the excitement and loves with all she has. No one gets Lauren the way Rylee does. She cherishes the many moments where Rylee and her realize they might share the same brain. There is no one more qualified to play the role of roommate, best friend, cheerleader, wedding planner, etc. etc.
Logan Schrader
Best Man
Jonathan would describe Logan as a brother, best friend, and truly his best man. They met their freshman fall and quickly became close over a meal at Panda Express. Logan is someone who Jonathan can be himself with, pray with, laugh with, or cry with. Some of his favorite things about Logan include his “versatile” fits, his retired cop car, and his 3 point celebration. Jonathan and Logan have had many late night talks about anything going on in their life. Jonathan knows he has a brother for life and someone who brings the best out in himself.
Delaney Jonas

Who knew that shy 6th grader at lunch would be Lauren’s college roommate and best friend. She is always Lauren’s consultant for big plans and their dreams always seem to come true. Delaney is exceptional at making you feel seen and sharing in your interests. Lauren and Delaney have always been animal nerds together, but Delaney brings out the creative side in Lauren. Thank you for giving us good music, good photos, and good movies. Just two girls from Sanford after all.
Matthew Siegrist
Groomsman
Jonathan would describe his relationship with Matthew as one full of excitement. For instance the first time they met they woke up at 5AM to go fishing across the lake at the Siegrist establishment. They knew they needed to get back before a big storm, however, they underestimated how slow their 20 lb trolling motor was. Luckily they were saved by Mr. Siegrist in the ski boat seconds before the thunderstorm. Every time they are together their conversations are filled with laughter, joy, and how great Florida gator athletics should be. Jonathan can’t wait to have Matthew as a brother-in-law and is looking forward to losing to him in golf for years to come.
Ally Alilin

There is no one quite like Ally. Ally is the most fun-loving friend, but she is also very calculated and intentional. She may seem like she is not breathing, and she isn’t, but it’s just because she is laughing incredibly hard. At the same time, she never does anything without careful consideration, especially when it pertains to her friends. Her love for Lauren shines through their friendship so brightly, a bad day is impossible with Ally around!
Alex Lentz

Alex is one of the best friends someone could ask for. He is willing to do anything for them and Jonathan has had the pleasure of being his roommate in college. Some perks of living with Alex include: staying up-to-date on volcanic activity, learning about tornadoes in Kansas, and always having someone to eat Ben & Jerry’s with. Alex is rooted with deep faith and someone Jonathan finds it easy to reach out too. He enjoys talking about sports together, specifically fantasy football, and Jonathan hopes that one day Alex will also be able to win a dynasty championship.
Brooke Bergman

Brooke happens to be family because our mom’s are sisters, but there is so much purpose in the friendship that flourished between her and Lauren as a result of this. Lauren literally can’t remember a time in her life that Brooke was not right beside her. She is thoughtful, kind, and always manages to say something worthy of a laugh (or lots of laughs). Lauren is blessed to have someone like Brooke in her life.
James Lies

James is a strong man of faith and someone Jonathan knows he can always rely on. Their relationship means so much to Jonathan and it feels like only the beginning. Their hangouts are full of laughter or conversations about geopolitics. Sometimes they even forget about their significant others on double dates. They share a great love for college football, jersey mikes, and bass fishing. Jonathan is confident that he is and will be a better man from knowing James and looks forward to Taco Tuesdays in the Bay Area.
Carolina Lies

Carolina is Lauren’s oldest friend. She has seen Lauren since she would only wear Guy Harvey shirts and hot pink converse, all through the high school years, and has supported from afar during college. It is true that within this friendship there are hundreds of childhood memories, but it doesn’t end there. Carolina continues to be an encouraging, wise, and loving friend to Lauren every day. She is blessed to know someone with such loyalty and commitment.
Andrew Forsyth

Andrew is a cool dude, plain and simple. He felt like an honorary roommate in college as he was always over hanging out. Jonathan hopes that one day Andrew will make it big and work at New Balance so he can gift Jonathan Cooper Flagg 1s. Through bible studies together, it became clear that Andrew is someone filled with wisdom and calmness. Jonathan cherishes his fellowship with him and believes Andrew has a gift of leadership. Even though Andrew is across the country in Oregon, Jonathan looks forward to cooking him in basketball in the near future.
Lily Yoder

Lily is always there to support you, dream with you, laugh or cry with you. She is not afraid to share in her friend’s emotions, something Lauren very much admires. Lily creates beautiful art and actually painted the first gift Lauren ever received from JB. And most of the stationary you will see during our wedding season is probably a Lily original. Oh and if you are wondering who that girl is at our wedding tearing up the dance floor, it is Lily.
Grayson Johnston

Grayson is always down for a good time. He always brings the jokes that get the fellas laughing. Jonathan loves Grayson’s consistency and willingness to always be there. Rumor has it that Grayson still owes Jonathan 15 dollars from poker over two years ago and it definitely isn’t still on Jonathan’s mind. Jonathan cherishes his memories in college with Grayson and looks forward to more lightning games with him in the Bay Area. He wouldn’t change the years of brotherhood together for anything.
Ally Haley

If you see Ally tearing up at our wedding, she probably just laughed too hard (just kidding… maybe). Ally is knower of all things pop culture and an enthusiast of all music, sports, dogs (really only maisy and moose if we are being honest), and chipotle. In all seriousness, Ally is the type of friend that truly cares for you. She has been there for Lauren in the good and bad times that college brings, and will continue to be there for her in this wedding season.
Dylan Werle

Jonathan has never met someone that loves the game of Brawl Stars so much. Dylan has had such an impact on Jonathan’s life as a roommate for 3 and a half years. Now Jonathan cannot go past a takeout Chinese place without thinking of him. They both had the blessing of majoring in Electrical Engineering together and Jonathan was so grateful to have a best friend as driven as Dylan to be with him every step of the way. Graduating together was an unforgettable experience. Jonathan knows he can rely on Dylan for anything and will be an incredible accountability partner for years to come.
Stella Celentano

To know Stella is to know true excitement, fun, and zeal for life. Stella is always right there, sporting her signature smirk, ready for the next adventure. And boy do we need someone full of excitement by our side as we conquer the huge adventure that is a wedding! Lauren has so much love for Stella and is so proud of the star(oh did you know that’s what her name means) she is becoming. But seriously, Stella is the best!
Zack Semmler

Zack and Jonathan’s bond started over a game of 1v1, in which Zack won, barely. Zack went on to be Jonathan’s little in Kappa Phi, which included many more 1v1’s, in which Zack also… won. Fortunately on their very last game of hoops, Jonathan claimed his very first win. Some would say Jonathan evolved into prime Jordan, others would say Zack let him win. Either way, their relationship grew into more than just basketball as they were able to share life together in college and count on one another. Jonathan would describe his friendship with Zach as one that is steadfast no matter how much time has passed.
Meg Welling

Meg is the most intentional friend Lauren has ever had. You may confuse her with Lauren at the wedding, as not only their appearances but their interests are one in the same (Lauren will be in the white dress). Meg is always there to listen or to go on an adventure, and both probably involve beer, coffee, or both. And yes, that is a tech deck in her bouquet. Lauren admires the way Meg makes it her life’s mission to love others well and treat them with the kindness of Jesus.
Landon Glavach

Landon is a wild, wild man. Jonathan has never seen someone so fearless in a 1998 red Volvo Station Wagon and learned what a true south florida driver is like. Jonathan fully expects to be abducted on a spontaneous roadtrip to the middle of nowhere, just for the “fun” of it with Landon behind the wheel. Jonathan admires Landon’s way of thinking, excitement for life, and biblical knowledge. He is truly a better man for knowing Landon as one of his best friends.
