Enjoy the Beach

Enjoy the Beach

The best beaches near Cartagena are those on the nearby islands, such as Playa Blanca on Isla Barú for its white sand and clear water, and beaches within the Rosario Islands, like Isla Grande and Playa Azul. For convenience, Bocagrande is a popular city beach right near the wedding venue and hotels. To get to these beaches, we recommend taking a short boat ride or arranging a day tour through your hotel. Water taxis and organized excursions depart regularly from the marina and nearby docks, making it easy to spend a relaxing day on the islands and return to the city in the afternoon. If you prefer to stay closer to town, Bocagrande’s beach is just a quick walk or taxi ride from most hotels and the wedding venue.

Visit and Shop at Plaza La Serrezuela

Plaza La Serrezuela is a luxury shopping and cultural complex located in the historic center of Cartagena. The plaza houses high-end shops, gourmet restaurants, cafes, and art galleries, making it a stylish destination for both shopping and dining. Beyond commerce, it’s also a cultural hub where visitors can enjoy art exhibitions, live performances, and events, all while surrounded by the historic charm of Cartagena’s old city. Its unique architecture and central location make it both a modern urban attraction and a window into the city’s historical past.
