Kiersten’s side : We both went to a dance at the Elks Lodge. I didn’t know Jon at all at the time, but he was hanging out with someone I knew. After the dance, I needed a ride, and Jon offered to take me. We ended up going to the new zip line at Riverbottom, and at one point I asked if anyone would give me a piggyback ride. Jon was the first to say yes. From that moment on, I was completely head over heels for him. Now here we are, 5 years later, and I still fall for him every single day. Jon’s side: From my side, I met my future wife at an Elks Lodge party. A mutual friend introduced us, and right away I thought she was easy to talk to and fun to be around. We spent more time together throughout the night, and after the party we went to the park. At some point she asked for a piggyback ride, and I agreed. It was one of those simple moments that ended up being really memorable for me. After that night, we kept talking and spending time together, and things naturally grew into a relationship.
