Although they lived in the same area in Cypress, Texas, Jonathan and Demi did not meet until they both attended the University of Texas at Austin. They started off as friends, going to sixth street and participating in normal college-related shenanigans (sparing you the drunken details.) Soon enough Demi developed feelings for Jonathan, in which he reciprocated but did not act upon until a year later. In 2013, Demi was studying abroad in Spain, where they continued their courtship from 6 hours apart. Jon's deranged fear of Demi running off with a "Matador" (as he liked to call it) made him realize he couldn't be without her. They made it official and Demi came back to the US with a future forever partner, and some serious jetlag. If you knew anything about Jonathan and Demi individually, you would know that they are very different: Jonathan: Logical, Methodical, Creature-of-habit, Engineering Mastermind Demi: Impulsive, Stubborn, Creative, Spontaneous, still-doesn't-understand-how-Trump-is-prez. Although very different, the love they have for each other outweighs the " what do you want to eat!?" arguments every single time. Demi & Jonathan's love was built on a solid foundation of movie quotes, sports, being embarrassingly weird and their ability to endure each other when they're hangry.
