6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
The attire is up to you. Beth will be wearing a pretty dress. Jonathan will be wearing a suit without a tie. Wear something that makes you feel like a star. Or just wear your favorite t-shirt and jorts. We want you to be comfortable.
The reception will immediately follow the ceremony. We have rented the entire tap room for the evening. On Tour will be serving their tasty craft beer. We'll also have wine, spirits and non-alcoholic options. We'll be dining on some of Chicago's finest tacos and pie. Our goal that Friday is to throw a big, fun party more than a "traditional" wedding. We're looking forward to you joining us.
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Casual
Hey out-of-towners, we'd love to continue the laughs and fun with you the day after our wedding--so we're organizing an architecture boat cruise for those who'd like to join. The cruise is 90 minutes long and is a great way to see and learn about the spectacular Chicago skyline. Beth and I will take care of the tickets. The boat will have a cash bar, complimentary soft drinks, coffee and cookies. Plus you can bring sandwiches, snacks, etc. onboard if you like. Kids are invited (even if they won't be attending the wedding the day before). Afterwards, we may head over to the world-renowned Billy Goat tavern for a post-cruise cheeseburger and thirst-quenching Old Style beer. Please let us know if you'd like to attend by June 7--as we'll want to buy tickets quickly before the cruise is sold out. All aboard for good times, mateys!
