What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The event will all be held outside so we recommend sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, etc. Please note you will be walking in grass so be sure to wear shoes that will be comfortable!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will provide a bus to take guests from the Marriott Sanibel Harbor Resort & Spa to Edison & Ford Winter Estates. The bus will be available to take guests back to the Marriott Sanibel Harbor Resort & Spa throughout the event.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Spring in Florida is typically dry with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 60s. You may want to bring a light jacket for the evening but also a bathing suit!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held outside on the lawn at Edison & Ford Winter Estates.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! We'll have an open bar throughout the event and a BBQ buffet with meat and vegetarian options.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking available at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates' parking lot. There are over 200 total spaces available. Guests will cross McGregor Boulevard at the stoplight on foot. Parking is not available on the historic riverside property.
