We actually met online, and not on a dating app. Neither one of us were looking for a relationship and it actually came out to be a surprise for the both of us. We were friends for about 6 months talking every single day and video chatting in between my classes at the time. I was in College Station, TX for school and he lived in Yakima, WA. The day came after 6 months where he decided to ask me to be his girlfriend and I was the hesitant one, because come on would this even work; with the distance and not having seen each other in person. As scary as it all was I thought about how women back in the day would talk to pen pals from across the country and relationships would bloom from those letters. So, I said yes and April 7th, 2016 is when our journey began. By June of that year he came to see me and July he made another trip to meet my family. I went and spent New Years with him and his family. By March 2017 he had officially moved down to San Antonio with me and we have accomplished so much together. Well you know the rest and now here we are planning the BIG DAY!!
