We're getting married!

We met in high school marching band and didn't think much of it. Then on a bus back from a football game we happened to be sitting in neighboring seats and Jonas thought it would be funny to play a joke and use my seat as a footrest. I then proceeded to untie his shoe and we struck up a conversation. We became friends and fast forward a few years we became "that" high school sweetheart couple from a small town that actually stuck together.

During a trip to Florida, we were watching the sunset at Siesta Key beach (one of our favorite beaches). There was a storm in the distance, but it created a beautiful rainbow, which after the fact I now see as maybe a sign of God giving his blessing. Just as the sun was at the horizon he got down on one knee and popped the question. He proposed the same place where my dad proposed to my mom because he knew I would enjoy sharing that with my mother. We are excited to celebrate this next chapter with you!
