Hawaii Elopement Pictures
In case you didn't know, we eloped in Hawaii in May of 2025 (like most military couples do). We were too excited to start our two year long Hawaiian honeymoon! Click here to see our pictures from that day!
Royal Bliss Brewery
Grab a beer and a bite where Caroline and Jonas first met! Caroline had graduated college and was waiting for her first Army assignment, so she started waitressing at the local brewery. Jonas was a shift lead at Royal Bliss, when one Sunday morning in August of 2023, he was asked to train the new girl. A little over two years later, they turned Royal Bliss into Marital Bliss!
Carowinds WinterFest
Experience the holiday magic at Carowinds' WinterFest, featuring festive lights, seasonal shows, ice skating, and visits with Santa Claus. The park offers a variety of holiday-themed attractions and entertainment. Fun Fact: Jonas took Caroline here for her birthday when they first started dating. He even rode a few roller coasters (even though he is scared of heights).
McAdenville, NC Christmastown USA
Each December, just west of Charlotte, the quaint town of McAdenville becomes a Christmas wonderland. Almost overnight, the vibrant little town transforms into Christmas Town U.S.A.®, attracting visitors from across the country. Begins December 2nd. Admission is free. You can drive through or walk around the town of McAdenville and check out the lights. Fun Fact: Jonas and Caroline double-dated here with Bridesmaid/Future Sister-in-Law Lena and her husband!
Reedy Creek Park Disc Golf Course
Check out one of Jonas' favorite hobbies: Disc golf! This course is the area’s oldest and is set in the woods over hilly terrain. Accuracy is more important than length. A variety of shots are needed to score well. The course has several hole locations to give it some variety. It is a very popular course in the area as it is close to UNCC and gets many students playing the course.
Skybrook Golf Club
Located near the Hotel and Wedding Venue: Skybrook is one of Mr. Wasko's favorite golf courses in Charlotte. It is widely regarded as one of Charlotte’s premier semi-private golf destinations. Skybrook continues to raise the bar with ongoing improvements year after year. Located in Huntersville, NC, the golf course is designed by renowned architect John LaFoy.
