Trevor and Samantha met at a store they worked at together. Samantha was just hired for the summer at Academy Sports where Trevor was already employed. Over the next few years, they would go out together every so often. Then, in the fall of 2017, they finally decided to go on their first official date. After that, they have been inseparable.

It was a typical Saturday night for Samantha and Trevor. Their plans were to go to the pond to hunt for deer sheds, fish, and have a bond fire with their friends. When Trevor took Samantha to look for deer sheds, she found the perfect shed that said, "Will you marry me?"
