Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Zoë Page and Jon Pickos
Jon and Zoë have plenty of recommendations for things to do while you are in town to share our special day with us! Avid lovers of craft beer and delicious stouts, brewing recommendations abound. In addition, we have plenty of recommendations for must sees in the beautiful city of Madison.

Octopi Brewing

1131 Uniek Drive, Waunakee, WI 53597
, (608) 218-5917

Jon highly recommends Octopi brewing as it is also home to Untitled Art, a shared favorite for Jon and Zoë with delicious stouts, IPA's, craft seltzers, and everything in between.

Young Blood Beer Company

112 King Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 630-9028

You might recognize this familiar favorite as it served as one of the locations for Jon and Zoë's engagement photos! Located in the heart of downtown Madison with an amazing vibe and a beautiful interior, we highly recommend stopping by for a beer or taking some to go!

Hop Haus Brewing Company

2975 Sub-Zero Parkway, Fitchburg, WI 53719
, (608) 497-1133

The beer recommendations continue with a recent new favorite in Hop Haus. Located outside the city, it is well worth the drive for the delicious beer and great food!

Memorial Union Terrace

800 Langdon Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 265-3000

Memorial Union is a great spot and a place Zoë's parents spent a lot of time at in college! Hang out on the terrace at sunset and enjoy our gorgeous lake and a beer! Don't forget some of the famous Babcock Ice Cream!

New Glarus Brewing Company

2400 Wisconsin 69, New Glarus, WI 53574
, (608) 527-5850

We would be remiss not to include the Wisconsin staple, New Glarus Brewing Co. While it is not located in the city, it is approximately a 39 minute drive and if you're not coming the state, it may be your only chance to check out this exclusively Wisconsin brewery!

Henry Vilas Zoo

702 South Randall Avenue, Madison, WI 53715
, (608) 266-4732

How often do you get to go to a free zoo?! If you have kids the zoo is a must! And did we mention it's free!

Olbrich Botanical Gardens

3330 Atwood Avenue, Madison, WI 53704
, (608) 246-4550

Enjoy a lovely walk and beautiful gardens!

Dane County Farmers' Market

2 East Main Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 455-1999

Visit the popular Dane County Farmers Market on Saturday morning on the Capital Square. One of Zoë's favorite stops is for Stella's spicy cheese bread!

Picnic Point

2000 University Bay Drive, Madison, WI 53705

Take a quick 15 minute walk to the end of the Picnic Point peninsula. You'll get a pretty awesome view of Madison that you won't get anywhere else. This is also where Zoë's bridesmaid Savannah and her husband got engaged!

Eno Vino Downtown

1 North Webster Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 455-0663

Eno Vino is a rooftop bar that overlooks the Capitol Square. Head here for a tasty happy hour with fantastic views. If you booked a room at the AC hotel, then your in luck, this is right in your hotel! Located on the top floor.
