Tiff and Jon first met in July 2017, backstage at the Kimmel Center. It was between shows, the cast had just finished their Matinee and as the girls were walking out to grab dinner, our assistant company manager wanted to introduce the new actor who would be playing Fiyero. Tiff remembers Jon in his work out clothes, tiny backpack, and a long hair held back by a headband and thought, "Huh, they hired Thor." The next day they hung out with some of the cast members at the hotel pool, and they became fast friends. For the next year their friendship only grew stronger as they navigated the hardships of being away from home, the highs of being in new exciting places, and the loneliness that comes with the tour life.

A year later, after traveling all over the midwest, they landed on a nine week sit down in Toronto. The cast drove in together on a bus, and were given one day off in the city to explore. In true Jon and Tiff fashion, they left Sari and Elle together, rented bicycles and explored the city. They retraced the steps of Jon's Glee tour days, found some fun new places to eat, drink, and play ping pong. They don't quite know what exactly changed, or maybe something had been quietly changing all along. Toronto turned out to be some of the best memories the two have together so far. It has been downhill since, the depression and anxiety has consumed them ever since, and all they want is to get back to Toronto. JK ;)

After the Wicked Tour the world sort of went downhill. Tiff and Jon are so grateful for June Lake. It was where they were when quarantine started, and have been back so many times since. It has become a place of peace, Love, and meditation for them. They have so many wonderful memories at the new June lake home feeling both incredibly thankful for the love surrounding them from friends and family, and broken hearted by the state of the world. Now June Lake will be our place to commit our lives to each other in front of all the most important people to us. We couldn't think of a more fitting place to get married than June Lake......Maybe Toronto, but still.
