Question

Do you need to give us a present?

Answer

NO! Come on vacation with us!! You being with us is all we ask for!

Question

Is there going to be another ceremony if we can’t make it to Aruba?

Answer

This will be the only official ceremony that we are putting on. However, some of our family may have a small celebration for us in the states, but we aren’t planning it.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Feel free to bring your kids! Many of the resorts have childcare and special rates for little ones. Please let us know as soon as possible if you plan on bringing your tiny humans so that we can add them to the guest list.

Question

How do I get a passport for myself and my kids?

Answer

Elmer and Newfield post offices can help you out. If you go on the USPS website, you can make an appointment for passport processing. I put a link to the state department website (which has the forms) in the travel section. You need an ORIGINAL birth cert with the raised seal for any adult applying. Children need an original BC with a raised seal that has both parents names along with the adult's driver's license. If there are custody orders, you need to provide information showing you have custody or a signed affadavit from the other parent saying they can't be there and they're allowing the process (plus your ID). The link to fill out your forms ahead of time is: https://pptform.state.gov/PassportWizardMain.aspx

Question

How much are the room rates?

Answer

At this point, I'm still trying to work on solidifying package deals with flight and hotel, but because of the state of the world, I think they're holding off on flight info. I'd hold off on booking until we get a wedding package code so you can get the discounts. I just wanted to provide you with ballpark figures. However, I did receive the following information about room rates at the all-inclusives (food, alcohol and other drinks, plus stay): Divi Tamarijn All-Inclusive (all rooms are ocean front and this is where we're staying): $455 per room per night- Double Adult Occupancy $308 per room per night- Single Adult Occupancy $670 per room per night- Triple Adult Occupancy *Kids 0-12 are free here with one paying adult; older kids are discounted; 2 children per room *Minimum of three night stay required Divi Aruba All-Inclusive (lots of room options here, but I'll give the highest priced one): Oceanview Room: $520- Double Occ. $341.25- Single Occ. $767.81- Triple Occ.

Question

Is it open bar?

Answer

Question

What kind of food will there be?

Answer

Well, if you're staying at an all-inclusive, you can eat whatever you want before you come. We added an option to choose in the RSVP to see if people wanted more of one than the others. We'll have an open bar and the following passed hors d'oeuvres at our reception: *Fruit Skewers *Mini Antipasto *Marinated Shrimp, Cilantro, and Mango Relish *Hot Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese *Mozzarella Sticks *Sweet and Sour Meatballs *Scallops Wrapped in Bacon *Seafood on Ice Station *Pasta Station We may add more options as we receive more RSVPs. If you have preferences, please let us know!
