One of the ten largest zoos in the world
We haven't personally been, but this is close to the venue and have heard great things! Could be great as activities with kids!
Go with friends. Order everything (and maybe 2 of the chicken & biscuits). You will not be disappointed.
Fun fact: We went here for our 1st anniversary and haven't been back since. Somehow this place still comes up in conversation every other week. We really need to go back sometime!
Our favorite French restaurant in NYC! Vibes are always immaculate and the food always hits.
Shirley's go-to Mexican spot around Fordham's Lincoln Center campus during the college years
Get the banana bread pudding! There are multiple locations, but we've listed the one closest to the venue.
Our favorite restaurant when we lived in the UES. Get the passionfruit souffle for dessert!
One of our favorite KBBQ spots in the city! We've been going since we first ventured into Korean food & is always our first recommendation. Their motto of "Listen to the Woman" is plastered on their chopstick covers - wise words for Jon to abide by for the rest of his life....
Yes, we're shocked too! As native New Yorkers, we wouldn't really recommend anything within the immediate vicinity of Times Square. But Tony's has consistently been a great place to share some family style Italian with our friends & family over the years!
Possibly one of Jon's favorite steakhouses in the city. If it isn't obvious, you should definitely get the mutton chops!
Shirley's go-to pizza spot around Fordham's Bronx campus during the college years
Row a boat on the lake, ride your bike slowly (stay left!), or just people watch! Having this close to us when we lived in the UES was truly a blessing!
U-don(t) know anything about noodles until you've eaten here!
There were only so many spots open late at night during our college years. We wrapped up a lot of those nights here!
One of the latest & greatest restaurants opened by Chinatown's best! Always a good vibe & a delicious meal. We love the all of the decor here!
One of our favorite Korean fusion spots for a intimate & tasty date night!
much iconic, very bike, jon's favorite
In case you were wondering where we first met!
Our first "date" was a bunch of bench time here. Broke high school students with no where to go or money to spend, so we just sat and chatted for hours on end..
