Chimney Rock
You CAN NOT beat this view. Super fun hike, and the park itself has lots of nature and history for all ages. Without COVID, an elevator typically runs from the parking lot to the top of the rock. The State Park includes Hickory Nut Falls as well.
Hickory Nut Falls
We hiked to the base of the waterfall after a rainy week, and WOW! We can't wait to hike to the top of the falls on our next trip!
Burntshirt Vineyards
This winery's patio has the best view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls. They also have live music on a nice summer night. We love the Lake Lure White!

This beautiful, historic home is a must-see in Asheville.
