Please see lodging options on the "lodging" page. The area offers a variety of options. Please book in advance as these do tend to fill up during this peak summer season.
Rideshare options are unreliable in the area, as such, we'll have a shuttle that will pick up at Grand View Lodge at 5:15pm prior to the ceremony and drop off guests at the end of the night back at Grand View as well. You are also welcome to drive or carpool, please just plan for a safe driver option. Please let us know ASAP if you'd like to be included on the shuttle.
Yes! We love the little ones and they're welcome to join. Please just be sure to let us know they're coming when you RSVP.
Weather willing—out on the beautiful lawn of the property. If it's gross out we'll get married inside and will communicate that out to guests. Either way—we'll make it work!
Our dress code is "Lakeside Casual" — whatever makes you feel cute and comfy. This will be a very casual, non-traditional wedding. Aka feel free to leave the ties at home.
Following the ceremony, we'll have dinner and drinks available. It will not be a formal sit-down dinner. We will do short toasts at a designated time that will be communicated to guests. Other than that, consider it time to eat, drink, and roam around as you please. There will be no dance floor or DJ at True North, but we'll have a great time out on the lawn and by the fire pits!
Sometime around 9:30 pm, a shuttle will arrive to take anyone who would like to celebrate with us to Zorbaz. The shuttle will then leave from Zorbaz at 12am and will drop off at the same locations that it picked up.
Please RSVP online through this website, by April 18th.
There will be free, limited street parking at True North. Please plan to park alongside the property without blocking the road or driveway.
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 6pm. Please allow some time for parking and getting situated.
Yes! Nisswa is a thriving and charming lake town with plenty of shops, food, and outdoor space. We encourage guests to make a weekend out of it and explore the area.
We have made the tough decision to limit Jon to making ~2-3 funny comments during the ceremony.
