Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The StarGazer shuttle will begin running at 2:00PM - starting at the Boulder Bear Motor Lodge, then to Acorn Lodge, Big Bear Hideaway, Wittig's Point Resort, Fishtrap Lake Resort, the house/venue and back to Boulder Bear Motor Lodge. The full route takes approximately 35 minutes. Please plan accordingly to catch a shuttle arrive to at the house around 3:30PM and no later than 4:00PM. Drinks and snacks will be available before the ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We have a shuttle that will be taking guests to and from the venue from 2:00PM - 12:00PM. Parking is limited and reserved for immediate family and guests with limited mobility.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. A shuttle will be running between the Boulder Bear Motor Lodge, Acorn Lodge, Big Bear Hideaway, Fishtrap Resort, Wittig's Point Resort and the venue. When the music stops, the shuttle will take guests interested in a night cap to Wittig's Point Resort. It will continue running from Wittig's to Boulder Junction until 12:00AM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. This is an outdoor venue, so please consider appropriate footwear for gravel and grass. Bringing a light jacket or shawl might also be a good idea!

Is this an outdoor venue?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will be held under event tents. September in Wisconsin can be unpredictable. We encourage our guests to check the weather (we sure will be) and be prepared for cooler temperatures. We'll make every effort to ensure your comfort, rain or shine.
