FAQs

We've answered a few common questions below to help you prepare for our wedding weekend. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

All-Black Formal Attire. We kindly ask that all guests wear elegant all-black attire for the evening. Long black dresses or formal black attire are requested for women. Black tuxedos or black suits, a tie, and a white dress shirt are requested for men.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless your child is specifically included on your invitation.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. Complimentary valet parking will be available at Bel Air Bay Club for all wedding guests.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for valet parking, cocktails and seating.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation and RSVP.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We've reserved a room block at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, our host hotel for the wedding weekend. We've also included a selection of nearby hotels on our Travel page to suit a variety of preferences.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No. Guests should plan to arrange their own transportation to and from the weekend's events. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout Los Angeles.

Question

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Yes. We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. Our photographer and videographer will capture every special moment, and we can't wait to share the photos with you afterward.

Question

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors overlooking the Pacific Ocean, followed by an indoor reception. As November evenings by the water can be cool, we recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket.
