We met on Hinge, but what really connected us wasn’t the app—it was our shared faith. We quickly realized we both valued and actively lived out our relationship with Christ, which made it easy to go from matching to actually wanting to know each other in real life. Our first date led to many more, and before long we were going to daily and Sunday Mass together, spending time in adoration, and slowly building something grounded in faith, friendship, and a lot of laughter. As things grew, we met each other’s families and started building a life that felt very natural, intentional, and very “us.” From there, life moved quickly in the best way. We traveled together to Florida, Nevada, Alabama, Cayman Islands, Mexico, and California, collecting memories and learning how to navigate everyday life together. Kirsten settled into her role as a full-time cardiac ICU nurse in Denver, and Jon became her steady teammate through it all. Today, we spend almost every day together and genuinely love being in each other’s presence—whether we’re traveling somewhere new or just doing the simple, ordinary parts of life side by side. We’re excited to keep building a life together and continue traveling the world hand in hand.

Jon planned an unforgettable surprise proposal on the cliffs of San Diego overlooking the ocean. What Kirsten thought was just a beautiful evening turned into the most meaningful surprise of her life. He thoughtfully planned every detail, even hiring a photographer to capture it all, and proposed with the ring of her dreams. We are beyond excited to get married, start our life together in Denver for now, move in together, and eventually add a golden retriever to the mix. More than anything, we’re excited for a lifetime of faith, adventure, laughter, and doing life together as best friends.
