Feeling BRAVE? Want to start the wedding morning off right? Join Jen at 7AM for a cold plunge during sunrise on the beach right outside the hotel from our favorite cold plunge coffee house Arctic Bath & Coffee. Jon will arrive shortly after around 8.
We’re big fans of a good cold plunge! Beyond the initial shock, it’s one of our favorite ways to reset—boosting energy, improving mood, and reminding us that a little discomfort can lead to something amazing (kind of like marriage, right?). If you’re feeling brave, join us! Typically this lasts about 3 minutes and the water is 50 degrees. We recommend wearing work out pants and a tee-shirt-- do not forget to bring a towel! Arctic will have gloves and booties available for people. Other added Benefits of cold plunge: Boosts mood & energy – The cold triggers endorphins and adrenaline, leaving you feeling awake, happy, and alive. Reduces inflammation – Great for sore muscles and recovery after workouts (or dancing the night away). Black Tie Optional- Semi-Formal Attire
Come dressed just as you would to a traditional wedding (no jeans or shorts) and you may remove shoes at the beach. Valet parking available at the West Events in the alley-- have your keys ready and or shuttle from double-tree hotel. Shuttle from the double-tree hotel will leave promptly at 3:20 so be down in the lobby at 3:15. There will NOT be another shuttle to the ceremony. Ceremony begins promptly at 4:15pm on the beach across the street. Cocktail Hour to follow at the West Events and Reception dancing the night away inside! Shuttles back to the Double Tree will begin at 9:30, 10:00, and 10:30. Shuttle to the AFTER Party will be at 11:00. Enjoy a fun day on the beach with our favorite DJ, DJ Xplicid, as we celebrate us becoming newlyweds. All family members welcomed. Boxed lunches will be provided along with several Cabanas. If you are not staying at the hotel, please bring your towels and beach chairs.
