Travel Note
We strongly recommend staying hydrated while in Colorado. Drink up to twice as much water to help avoid dizziness, headaches, and altitude sickness before and during your trip. Limit your caffeine intake. Limit alcoholic drinks since the effects will feel stronger at high altitude. Estes Park has an elevation of 7,522 feet. If you know you are sensitive to high elevation, please consider staying in Boulder which has an elevation of 5,328 feet. We recommend the Hotel Boulderado or Hyatt Place Boulder/Pearl Street. Keep in mind, Boulder is a 1 hour drive from Estes Park and renting a car in encouraged.
