Enter at 1st & Pike and enjoy all the market's delights - fresh flowers, fish and fruit, trinkets, and restaurants (we love Rachel's Ginger Beer). - Seattle Aquarium (Downtown): newly remodeled, right on the waterfront, great for kids! - Seattle Art Museum (Downtown): Seattle's premier art museum - Space Needle (Queen Anne): expensive but do it once? - Chihuly Glass Museum (Queen Anne): also expensive but worth seeing once - Olympic Sculpture Park (Queen Anne): best place for sunset in Seattle - Asian Art Museum (Capitol Hill): nice small collection of art and artifacts, beautiful location in Volunteer Park (stop at Volunteer Park Cafe while you're in the neighborhood!) - Woodland Park Zoo (Woodland Park): good for kids
- Arboretum & Japanese Gardens (Madison Valley): Beautiful walking trails and gardens - where Jon proposed! - Discovery Park (Magnolia): Walking trails and urban hikes, views of Rainier, lighthouse. Where we took our engagement photos! - Magnuson Park: large park along Lake Washington with walking trails and great dog park! - Green Lake: A hop and a skip from the venue. Flat paved walking trail around the lake (a little less than 3 miles). Lots of restaurants nearby.
