We met when we joined the same guild in an online game called World of Warcraft - I was minding my own business when a random tank player Id barely talked to before asked me to heal some heroics and get our last few levels fast. He was so enthusiastic about how awesome we would be, I said "why not?" Turns out we were pretty awesome and from that point on we did basically everything together in the game. Within a few months we exchanged actual names and were talking every day on voice chat. We decided to give online dating a go not long after and almost four years later I bought a ticket to Montana. He picked me up from the bus stop, blaring The Lighting of the Beacons as we drove past the mountains - and the rest is history.

After living together for years, we figured it was about time we started thinking about getting married. In the summer of 2019 we had the opportunity to travel to Orlando, FL for a VFW conference that Jon was invited to attend. Being me I insisted we also go to Epcot - where Jon proposed at the Japan pavilion after dinner at Teppan Edo.
