Credit cards are widely accepted within Mexico, but it is great to have some pesos on hand as well. We recommend using a credit card that does not charge foreign transaction fees and taking cash out from an ATM after you arrive for the best exchange rate.

Most cellular plans offer coverage in Mexico but wifi and cell
connections can be tricky. Fair warning!

You do not need a power plug adaptor in Mexico, however, some stronger electronics
may need a voltage converter (ie: straighteners) so be sure to check.

Stick to bottled water!
